Which I did change that. So paying no attention on the next episode that I do, I will be changing that. Let's just get straight to the point. I already did a short clip earlier of um what LeBron James has decided to go to Philly.
SPEAKER_00Two years, eight million. Excuse me. So LeBron's going to Philly. Two years, eight million. As I said in the previous video, on the last episode. No, I got the hiccups, man. Jeez, I'm trying not to do that. So what do we have here? Automatic Eastern Conference contenders. Finals.
SPEAKER_01Automatic finals appearance. That's that's what's being said. If you ask me, I don't see it happening. We've got two years to get the job done. Realistically, with the squad that they have, they should get a ring within the first year. That'd be crazy. That'd be great for Philly, right? But I don't see it happening. VJ Edgecomb, he's just getting started. Um, he's good. Definitely good. Then you got Tyrese Maxie, like I said, he's cooked up the whole season last season. He's done great. For me, he came out of nowhere. I never would have thought. Something like that. So let's just say 27 and 7, right? 20 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds. Um, and probably he probably averaged at least one block. I'd give him that one. I didn't see those stats. Uh, and speaking of stats, I'm not really a stat guy, so I'm I'm flying off the top here. I'm not recording anything and then gonna edit it later. I don't have a script. I feel like if you got a script, you don't need to be talking about what you're talking about. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. Um, but that's neither here nor there. I just I don't know, even though I rambled like that. My bad. Look. And then you got Joel and B. LeBron's gonna do what LeBron does. He rarely gets injured, right? And when he does, he's not out for an absorbent amount of time. They don't have Tobias Harris, which sucks, because Tobias Harris would be a nice piece off the bench, boss. He definitely will be a good addition coming off the bench. Um, I really don't know what their bench looks like, so uh that is something to look into to see if they've tried to work around fixing that because I'm sorry, they're not. I believe the Knicks are going to the Eastern Conference Finals again next season. No bias, bias aside. I believe the Knicks are going to the Eastern Conference Finals again, and if they do, there's nobody that's gonna stop them in my group. They were saying how uh Philly wasn't healthy and Halliburton wasn't healthy. Okay, one guy, one guy. One thing I'll say, even though LeBron is stagging his teams, like Charles Barkley says, one thing I'll say, LeBron ain't going to a team where it's just him. So credit where credit is due. It's pretty smart, right? Who's gonna help me? I thought I was in a great situation in LA, they got rid of. That also makes you wonder did any did was he really responsible for them getting rid of AD, trading AD and getting what they got? He probably was responsible for Luca, but nah. But let's get back to the topic at hand. Before we talk about Joel Embiid, as I mentioned with LeBron, he barely gets injured, he's dropping 20 points a game. Jalen Brown, the real newest, you know, newest piece to the team. Uh well, I can't say no, I'll say unexpected. I didn't think they would actually trade him. I figured they'd keep him, but just like the situation with Ryan Clark. It's oh, let me get rid of him because he's causing problems. A lot of the media and some people say, Oh, it's because he's too smart. I I'm too smart to be with your team. Let me get traded. I don't know, man. I don't I don't get in all that stuff, but this is the stuff that you hear online and the stuff that you see, and you will grab us uh a little feather and turn that motherfucker into a stroke. But Jalen Brown, he said, you know, hey, last year was my best year, it was my favorite year. You kind of can't fault the man for that because he got to show that he could do it on his own. Um excuse me, not on his own, but he could lead a team, he could get the job done, and he didn't need Jason Tatum.
SPEAKER_00And that's what they really didn't like.
SPEAKER_01Jason Tatum to me has now got a lot to prove.
SPEAKER_00A lot to prove after losing Jalen Brown because you don't have your 1B.
SPEAKER_01You don't have your Batman and or Robin, whichever y'all think he is, right? Jalen Brown that is. You don't have that guy. Uh you got Paul George, but Paul George isn't who he used to be. He got himself into a crappy situation in Philly with worrying about a podcast more than anything else.
SPEAKER_00I think he started his podcast when he was in OKC. But I hit the button, damn it.
SPEAKER_01Him uh Paul George worrying about his podcast more than anything is what was hindering him. Then he messed around and took something and got suspended for 25 games. I don't understand these athletes who get suspended for these um supplements, enhancements, whatever, and then they respond with, oh, I didn't know I couldn't take that, or hey, I was just taking this. I didn't know it was a problem. You guys know you get paid to know what you're not supposed to take. Let's let's get real. You know you get tested, you know they they watch things. Come on. If I'm an owner of a team and I'm paying people all this money, I'm gonna be watching like a hawk. Hey yo, check him. Hey, that's my money. You playing with my money, I'm giving you money to uh goof around. I'm giving you money to uh put yourself not just the league. Let's take this further. You're I'm putting money on you to put yourself in some sort of harm's way. I don't know what he took, but whatever it was, it was not for the for the league. Couldn't do what uh Ryan Garcia did. Was that Ryan Garcia? He said it was in a state, he had a state, him or Conor McGregor. I can't remember who it was, but it's like yeah, I got I stake. Um, but yeah, he he's just not who he used to be. I'm glad he is back. I'm glad he is playing. He can play. Um, I'd like to say he's dropping like 17 points a game. I'm not sure. Don't hold me to it, but I know he's dropping at least double digits. Um, so he would be a nice addition from a Jalen Brown. But Jalen Brown has now put himself in a situation where he is not, he's not the second option. He's not the third option. We don't even know if he's four or five, and that's the same for LeBron. And I think that LeBron doesn't really care. It probably be wise for them to run the offense through him. Um, but if not, he could just be a facilitator. Ron is not gonna be um going hard for 82 games. He's gonna play. And if the game is down to the wire and and they need a basket, you're gonna see him drive to the basket, yes. They're not gonna see that explosiveness that is or was LeBron James uh 82 games out of the season, multiply that by two because he got two years. I ain't good with quick math, y'all do it. Um heBron, again, like I said, he could be a great facilitator. He can he can see the game where what's going on, he sees it all. But it isn't it it's not gonna be all just him, it's not gonna be all just Jalen Brown. These guys gotta come together within the next two years as a team and gel like nobody's business. I've never seen a starting five like this. Even if I sit here and think about it with the with the caliber of players, it it looks nuts. It looks like somebody was playing 2K. And the only way this worked was LeBron said, yo, I'll take the league. They probably were in the back and said, Look, we'll we'll bring you in, but you're gonna have to take the league minimum. You can't be getting millions of dollars, or if not the league minimum, then let's work something out. Where you call me crazy, right? But let's let's get in the back and let's talk. Get in the back, they talk and they say, Look, man, we'll bring you in, but you gotta retire. This is it. This is your last hoorah. Join this squad, take this amount of money, or we talk about it, you know, and come to a conclusion or an agreement of what we are gonna pay you as a team, how long your contract's gonna be, and this is it. Because this is LeBron James, and if he's still giving you 20 points a game, eight million, that's nothing.
SPEAKER_00That's literally peanuts, but who knows?
SPEAKER_01He might he might do it, he might pull it off. I don't see it. They look great on paper, as I said in the beginning of this. They look great on paper, but no, I don't see it happening.
SPEAKER_00Would I like to see it happen?
SPEAKER_01No, because people have already started with oh, if he wins a ring with this team, if LeBron wins a ring with this team, you could pack it up. He's the goat, he's the greatest. The debate ends. You can't be the greatest player of all time to win a ring on four different teams. That doesn't do it. I'm sorry, it just doesn't be great where you were. He got one for Cleveland. That for me was enough. He did it. He I I don't I don't think I've ever seen that either. Y'all went to a team, you tried. Y'all tried and tried, you left, got two rings, came back, got that ring from them for Cleveland. So you got a ring with a team that drafted you. I didn't think you would do it. Sounds like WWE, right? They the wrestlers, right? They come to the WWE, they don't do good, or it's time for them to go, they go to another company, make a name for themselves, win championships elsewhere, and then they go back home to WWE and they uh win themselves a championship. They win themselves a ring. That's basically what LeBron has done. But you're not doing it with a team, like somebody else has posted again, this is on uh X, Twitter, whatever y'all call it, and they were like, they showed it was all prime, prime, prime, prime, prime, prime, and then they showed Wade, Bosch, uh Gasol, um, Luca, not Luca, AD. They just listed all the prime players that he played with in his travels to getting a ring, and then they said he needed all these, and old Jordan needed was Pippin. No one man is gonna get the job done or their team, there's always gonna be a number two, but the other guys don't get that much credit because this is LeBron James, and with that being said, LeBron James has to deliver in Philly. If he don't the ghost of Jordan that he supposedly is chasing, is gonna haunt that man forever. Because imagine how many players have come in thinking to themselves that they are better than Michael Jordan. I'm not a Jordan fan. Said it in my first video, uh well, my other video that I uploaded uh last week. I am not a Jordan fan. But I know with the accolades that he has and the things that he's done, he is indeed the greatest.
SPEAKER_00Six championships with one team. Three P. Took time off, came back three-peed again.
SPEAKER_01No game sevens, a few finals MVPs. I think he got league MVPs. I'm not a Jordan Dotton follower. So what what what you got? Nothing, man. I winning six rings with the same squad. That's no, not even the same squad, because obviously everybody, people got traded. People came in, people got traded. Uh, because uh Rodman came from Detroit, if I'm correct, and then um I think Pippin later on got traded to the Rockets, and then they had Kerr, and they had Ku Coach, and I think they had Luke Longley, uh, Horace Grant, um, like it the list goes on and on. But those guys, different players came in and he stayed with that team and still built a champion. Think about that. Six championships, and the roster did not stay the same for those six championships, they adjusted and won a ring. Ron can't say he ever did that. That takes skill, that takes motivation, that takes locker room leader, and I won't say he don't got skill, and I won't say he don't got motivation, but he damn sure ain't a locker room leader. You gotta be able to work with what you got. Turn uh what they say, turn um turn uh the shit to sugar, water to wine, uh chicken salad, chicken shit, you know how it goes. You gotta be able to do that, not leave. Build over there, get a ring, get a ring, I'm out. Oh, Ray Allen's leaving. Oh, I'm out.
SPEAKER_00Something wrong with Bosch. Oh, I'm out. T-Wade you'll be right. Then you go to Cleveland, okay, cool.
SPEAKER_01There was that was meltdowns there, but you finally get one. Kyrie saved you. Ray Allen saved you too. But hey, see what I'm saying? Kyrie gets acknowledged for the shot, but it's not, he gets acknowledged, he gets acknowledged for the shot off of LeBron. Because, oh, he saved his career, and that's all you're gonna know, Kyrie fool. He saved him, and then you did they did Ray Allen so dirty. Like, that's all they talk about. Ray Allen saved you, Ray Allen saved you, but where'd Ray Allen at now? I don't even see him no more, which is kind of Jesus Shuttles were, anyways. That was a crazy side note that um, but yeah, he's got the two years. Philly as a whole got the two years. Joel and beat. I don't want to hear no more crying, I won't hear nothing else about my knees, my back, my neck, none of that. I don't wanna hear none of that. Jalen Brown, LeBron James, and Joel and B are the three on that team that need to prove something within the two years. I don't know how long. Um how long Jalen Brown's contract is. But those three right there, Maxie and Vijay Edgecomb can coach, have fun. VJ Edgecomb said, uh, yo, that's I I grew up watching LeBron. He's the reason why I want to play ball. Now he's he's teammates with the man. Let's see if we do this. Let's see if everybody's gonna everybody's gonna have those stories like they did with Jordan. Oh, came in floating. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_00Nah, ain't no floating. Better float, some layups, some some teardrops, float that.
SPEAKER_01I wanna see these boys get a ring. Sorry, I wanna see it. Joel Embiid, LeBron James, Jalen Brown. Jalen Brown said he had one of his greatest seasons, because leading team. Joel Embiid, you always crying. You got all the help you need. Play ball, stop getting injured, stop crying, man up. And Ben Simmons, AD are some of the softest, injury-prone fools I've ever seen in my life. God forgive me. No, not God forgive me. I meant to say pause, my bad. Oh man. Them boys always injured, always getting hurt. It's time to man up, time to hit the gym, time to work it out. I got time to be showing you how to work out, get the job done, and we'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_00But I'm telling you, LeBron is not getting there.
SPEAKER_01I want him to, but I want him to because I'm actually in my head, I want to see who's gonna get a ring first curry for LeBron.
SPEAKER_00Who's gonna get ring number five if they had a little thing going? We'll see what happens. Hope y'all enjoyed this off the court. I'll be back again.
SPEAKER_01Y'all tell Ryan Clark to chill out. He knows he's fronting with them tears. Shouldn't have said what he said. Can't always be about race, cut that shit out.
